1.THE GOONIES
The cast was not allowed to see the pirate ship before the scene was shot, as Richard Donner the director of the movie wanted to catch their genuine reactions at the size and scope of it.After seeing it,Josh Brolin was so surprised that he exclaimed "Holy shit!" The scene had to be re-shot.Did you also know?!,In the Goonie house, when Mouth, Mike, and Brandon tell Chunk all his made-up stories, Mouth tells him about when he said he ate his weight in pizza. Mouth says "Godfather's Pizza," but mouths "Pizza Hut." Pizza Hut refused to be mentioned in the movie, so the shot was overdubbed.
2.BACK TO THE FUTURE
In the scene at the diner, Marty asks for a Pepsi Free. This is a reference to a brand of Pepsi, which was the company's first caffeine free cola.In the same scene,he also asks for a Tab, which was actually a diet cola brand produced by Pepsi's rival Coca-Cola.We can see both orders confused the man behind the counter.Did you also know?!The mall where Marty McFly meets Doc Brown for their time travel experiment is called "Twin Pines Mall." Doc Brown comments that old farmer Peabody used to own all of the land, and he grew pines there. When Marty goes back in time, he runs over and knocks down one of the pine tree on the Peabody's property. When he comes back to the mall at the end of the film, the sign at the mall identifies the mall as "Lone Pine Mall".
3.INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM
In the first few minutes of the film, Indy states that he only speaks Mandarin in "special occasions." This is a really clever foreshadowing, as near the end of the film, Indy has to warn Short Round to hang on to the suspension bridge while he tries to cut it.If he had warned Short Round in English, it would have given the Thuggees a clue as to what he was doing. This apparently represents a "special occasion."Did you also know?!,Harrison Ford suffered a herniated disc in his back during the scene in which he is attacked by Thuggee's assassin in his bedroom, and production was halted and Ford was flown to Los Angeles for spinal surgery. Much of Ford's work in the fights and chases in "Temple of Doom" was actually done by stuntman Vic Armstrong.Special care needs to be taken to hide the stuntman's face from the camera. However, this turned out to be largely unnecessary, as Armstrong at the time bore a striking resemblance to Ford, both in face and body dimensions.
4.GHOSTBUSTERS
An earlier version of the script had Winston played by Ernie Hudson in a larger role with an elaborate backstory as an Air Force demolitions expert. Excited by the part, Hudson agreed to the job by cutting half of his usual salary. The night before shooting began, he was given a new script with a greatly reduced role; Ivan Reitman the director of the film told him that the studio had wanted to expand Bill Murray's role. But the real reason revealed in later years is that Ernie Hudson was a last-minute stand in for Eddie Murphy who backed out after getting the lead in Beverly Hills Cop that released in 19 84,which ultimately led to the Hudson's trimmed role.Did you also know?,During Filming ,Dan Aykroyd referred to the "Slimer" ghost as the ghost of John Belushi. Slimer's gluttonous eating was a nod to Belushi's cafeteria scene from the movie "National Lampoon's Animal House" that released in 1978.
5.THE PRINCESS BRIDE
Mel Smith who played the character 'The Albino' confessed that he never watched his performance in this film due to the painful experience involved in filming the role. His character required him to wear coloured contact lenses and, unknown to Smith and the costume department at the time, he was actually allergic to the lens solution used. This meant that Smith was in constant pain and discomfort throughout filming; hence, he was reluctant to relive the memory.Did you also know?!,In the novel, Prince Humperdinck wanted to get married to Princess Noreena of Gilder. Shortly after Noreena's arrival to Florin, a gust of wind blows the hat she's wearing off of her head revealing she's bald. This disgusts Humperdinck who kicks her out of Florin causing both kingdoms to become enemies and are on the verge of warring with each other. In the film, Florin and Gilder are already enemies and Humperdinck wants to go war with them.

He later requested a change of the film's title or production halted altogether. After the studio declined both requests, he filed a lawsuit and ultimately lost.
7.RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK (1981)
In An earlier draft of the script,Indy travels to Shanghai to recover a piece of the Staff of Ra. During his escape from the museum where it was housed, he was to be sheltered from machine gun fire behind a giant rolling gong. Also in the same script, Indy and Marion flee the chaos caused by the opening of the Ark in a wild mine-cart chase sequence. These scenes were cut from the script but ended up in the follow up Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
8.E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL (1982)
The filmmakers had requested that M&Ms be used to lure E.T., but The Mars company denied their request, fearing that E.T. was so ugly, he would frighten children. So the production team used Reese's Pieces instead, and as a direct result, their sales skyrocketed. Because of this, more and more companies began requesting that their products be used in movies - a common practice which was done previously with the James Bond film franchise. At the end credits of a Bond film prior to 1982 listed contributing companies with their product used in a feature film.
9.THE KARATE KID (1984)

10.STAND BY ME -1986
In the shot where Gordie and Vern are running towards the camera with the train right behind them, the train was actually at the far end of the trestle with the two actors on the opposite end. The production crew used a 600mm long-focus lens that, when shot at the telephoto end, compressed the image so much that it made it look like the train was right behind them.
11.GREMLINS -1984
The Gizmo puppets were particularly frustrating for the crew because they were smaller, and thus broke down more. Consequently, to satisfy the crew, a scene was included in which the gremlins hang Gizmo on a wall and throw darts at him. This was included on a list that the crew created known to them as the "Horrible things to do to Gizmo" list.
12.HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS -1989
Many credit the movie's success to the animated short 'Tummy Trouble' that theatrically released along with this film in 1989,the reason being many of the audience wanting to see more of Roger Rabbit. As a result, the short was included on the subsequent VHS and laserdisc releases of this film.
